Recap of CoD Challengers Elite Stage III Playoffs (OMiT EU)
As the summer months go on, the closer we get to champs. MW3 is slowly approaching the end of its competitive life. OMiT EU have their eyes on the prize as the time is flying by and eventually, champs will be here starting on July 18th through the 21st in Dallas, Texas. Let’s look at how Call of Duty Challengers Elite Stage III went for our squad.
BACKGROUND
OMiT EU has been able to maintain three core players. It is known that players in Challengers are prone to bounce around different organizations until they get the chance to take the main stage in the CDL. Weeman, Mythix, and Vortex are flipping the script and have stuck together throughout the MW3 competitive season. OMiT EU has gone through a total of three roster changes throughout the year. Shortly after the Boston major, Harry parted ways with OMiT EU. Eventually, Reeal made his way to the squad but after some time he was picked up by the Miami Heretics. Hicksy, former player for Toronto Ultra and Major III champion during the MW2 season, made his way to OMiT EU.

PLAYOFFS
OMiT EU starts with a victory against Notorious x CR in winners round one. They make their way through the winners bracket with two series wins until falling in winners finals to the Elite Stage III champions, Team Falcons. They ended their run at third place after losing in losers finals against Clutch Rayn x WAR. OMiT EU was looking to take home all three Challengers Elite chips but they fell short winning two in the MW3 season. This squad almost defied the odds but after bowing out at third place, their eyes are set on champs.
WRAP IT UP
Mythix himself has won four elites in a row, two of which were with OMiT. Although they did not win all three stages, it is safe to say this roster has been successful. Now is the time to lock in and work toward making some noise on LAN in Dallas in July.
