Call of Duty League Champs is finally here. OMiT Brooklyn is looking to make some noise on LAN in Allen, TX. Let’s hash out some OMiT history and Brooklyn’s dominance heading into the event.

I had the chance to speak to Rafi, our CEO and Founder. He explained that the formation of OMiT Brooklyn had a specific vision from the start. When you look at most of the CDL teams, the names of the team start with the name of the city followed by the team's name. For example, you have Boston Breach, Atlanta FaZe, etc. Arguably one of the most dominant organizations in esports history, OpTic, takes a different approach by naming their CDL team ‘OpTic Texas.’ Thus, looking up to OpTic led to the formation of OMiT Brooklyn. Rafi said the vision has influence, but the goal is bigger than that.

“Dress for the role you want to have. We want to be in the league,” said Rafi.

OMiT Brooklyn formally started as “OMiT B2B” (Back-to-Back). The previous squad consisted of Purj, Gwinn, GodRx, and Yeez. This team was able to win the 2023 Challengers World Championship. Obviously, OMiT Brooklyn is looking to make history by securing the organization two Challengers World Championships. Let’s just say we want to make it back-to-back.

Heading into Dallas, Purj, Cammy, Owakening, and Prolute are already starting with momentum. They placed third in Toronto, secured a Challengers Elite Stage III chip, and won the last Challengers Cup.

OMiT has a history of showcasing dominance in multiple titles, especially CoD. The goal is to take home another world championship. The OMiT fam is rooting for our squad and we are excited to see what happens on LAN!
